Dust and the Indoor Environment

Dust mites and dust mite faeces are prevalent in many households and they breed prolifically in dark and moist situations. The dust mite faeces, being airborne, cause particular problems for those with respiratory ailments and the control of dust mites is a major plank of a clean internal environment.

Heat is a common method used to combat dust mites, generally in excess of 55°. Exposure to Ultra violet rays is another method used to destory dust mites. Even if the use of both of these methods does kill the dust mites, the erradication of the dust mite faeces is just as important.

Our use of air scrubbers (pictured right) will remove the dust particulates from the indoor atmosphere - and this process, coupled with dust mite destruction, offers the most comprehensive dust mite erradication program.
